We have just returned from a week at La Touche staying in Le Pigeonnier. We had a great holiday. Jamie and Anneli have only owned La Touche for a few weeks but they already know how to look after their customers. The baguettes and croissants delivered at breakfast time were a great start to the day - freshly baked too ! Jamie and Anneli are very friendly and helpful and passed on the knowledge of the area they had acquired in their short time there. They told us of their plans for future improvements. Hopefully we’ll return to see them. The gite is done to a very high standard. It’s spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. They also have a beautiful pool area. The advantage of staying in Le Pigeonnier is there is a huge first floor balcony. We loved turning all the outside lights off when it got dark so we could watch the stars. Also most of the time it’s so quiet you can hear a pin drop. Then suddenly you can hear the hens and geese from the small holding next door which can be entertaining. If you’re considering staying in the Loire Valley look no further than La Touche. You won’t be disappointed.

Just got home from just the break I needed, staying a few days at Courleon. Jamie and Annali should do really well in their new venture. After a warm greeting we found the spotless accommodation was ideal for the two of us, with a welcome basket of wine, coffee and the best home-made lemon cake I've ever tasted. We did the usual visits but their recommendation to visit the gardens of Chateau Villandry turned out to be exceptional. The good size pool was well worth getting wet for and I swam every night. The kitchen facilities met every need I had, with plenty of fridge and freezer space. Super soft pillows (I noted the make...)and a fabulous quilt that unfortunately I didn't need to use! All in all they deserve the 5 star rating and with the work they have planned, their change of career trajectory will have been a wise decision.

We had great vacations at Jamie's property. It's perfectly located, close to beautiful cities such as Chinon, Saumur, Langeais. If you're into wine and history, you can't expect better : the place is surrounded by wineries and castles. There is an amazing pool, bigger than in most hotels and the place is truly quiet, you can properly get some rest if this is what you're looking for. Last but not least, la touche is located next to a beautiful forest with great paths for runners ! A great experience with a great host !

We had a fantastic stay at Jamie’s place. It’s a really beautiful spot and the little house was really quite high spec. Beautifully done inside and really comfy beds and bedding, stylish furniture all made this feel like a boutique stay. The heated pool was wonderful and the children made friends with another family and their children. Really stunning woods just behind the house for dog walks. Perfect for a relaxing country break not too far from the Loire castles. We would thoroughly recommend this place. Jamie and Anneli was a great host and nothing was too much trouble.

A really lovely gite that was perfect for our family of 4 (kids 6 and 9 yrs of age). The setup is amazing and the pool area is perfect... kids made friends with others staying in other gites on site. Everything you need is on site providing you visit a supermarket beforehand as there is nothing nearby, that’s not a criticism as that is part of the charm of the place. Many evenings were spent looking at the sunset and then the stars at night - all made better due to the site's location away from built up areas. Couldn’t recommend enough and Jamie / Anneli were great hosts

Jamie and Annali are perfect hosts; kind, friendly and helpful, providing beautiful accommodation in a gorgeous setting. Being in the countryside, a car is necessary to visit the many destinations in the surrounding area. Jamie and Annali’s place, La Touche, is really accessible to the castles of the Loire Valley, the vineyards and the surrounding towns. La Touch is also a wonderful place to stay and relax, the pool is very inviting!

Magique! Anne-Sophie et Antoine
